Still Waiting.......

Alright, so technically Caleb is not due till 2/4/09 however, I have been trying everything I can think of (within reason of course) to get him to come early. Currently I have determined that if it worked once before it won't necessarily work again and combining them doesn't seem to help either. So far this is the list of things that have not worked- Skittles (Sorry Joy), the treadmill, shopping, excessive housework, dance parties, vacuuming, cleaning any surface I can find, lifting heavy objects, begging, pleading and shear will. He is obviously enjoying his cozy little home and trying to avoid the 6 inches of snow on the ground. Apparently I have a very hospitable womb (some of you will know what I mean). The 39 1/2 week belly shot to follow. I figured that since I have friends that post montly belly shots I should at least do one for good measure just so Caleb knows where he came from. Also, if you have a guess about my due date feel free to continue guessing because you can only get closer from here. P.S. if you have already submitted one you will have to keep your original guess.

Big Girl Bed.

I have finally completed work redecorating Isabel and Caleb's rooms. Isabel is now sleeping in a twin bed and loving it. She took her first nap in the bed and was hooked. I am pretty sure she doesn't know that she can get down on her own if she tried (and I am not going to show her yet). She doesn't even seem interested in the crib anymore :).........Now I am just waiting for the baby to come. Tick Tock........

Nesting or Neurotic???!!??!

As a f/u to my previous post Caleb is big but not too big. Right now at 36 1/2 weeks he is measuring about 6 lbs 5 oz. That is the size of some of my friends babies full term :) I am guessing he will be about 8 1/2 lbs and maybe 1 week early. Feel free to post your own guess. If any one is really close maybe I will get them a prize :)

Jen, I do have one semi-decent picture from the ultrasound. You can only see half of his sweet little face. I think he might have been waving when the picture was snapped. So right now we are getting the whole pirate look.

Caleb at 36 weeks

At 20 weeks- I would like to note that almost his entire body fit in the picture at this point and as you will notice above only the head does :)

OK, now something a little more relevant to the title of this post. I am attempting to get everything in order before my little guy comes. I feel like every time I complete one task on my list 2 more are added. I can't tell if I am nesting or if I am being slightly crazy. Each day I am doing one more really weird or strange cleaning/ organizing thing. Today so far I have removed the hardware and primed 6 dresser drawers, cleaned the bathroom and stripped the caulking out of the shower. I have also purchased new caulk and plan to recaulk the tub after I put the kids to bed. Yes,.... I said kids, Isabel's friend is spending the night tonight while his parents are out of town for 24 hours. So today is also Isabel's first slumber party, although I am pretty sure she is completely unaware of that.

3rd Trimester Ultrasound

A quick update .... As many of you know Caleb has been measuring several weeks ahead for a couple of months now. I have been scheduled for an ultrasound for this Wednesday to try and get an idea of just how big Caleb is and what they can anticipate that he will weigh. It will be fun to get to see him again this close to my due date. We also had our final Christmas this weekend with my mom. It was a lot of fun and Isabel definitely had a great time with her grandparents and their dog.
