We understand the awesome responsibility God entrusted us with when he gave you to us. Through this covenant we commit to God and before those we love to raise you in a way that honors God.

We believe that God created you Caleb. He made you unique, there is no one else in this world like you. We lay our expectations down and promise to help you discover God’s purpose for your life. We promise to always love you even when loving will be hard. We promise to take care of you and provide for you. We promise to pray for God’s blessings in your life every day. We promise to teach you how to pray. We promise to help you when you need help even if that means letting you try and fail. We promise to give you the opportunity to learn to be free as God intended. Our hope is that through us, you can see a glimpse of the great and perfect love God has for you.

In our marriage, we promise to love each other always. We promise to keep God at the center of our marriage. We promise to work at having a strong marriage. We promise to stay together, pray together, work together, and have fun together so you, Caleb, have a loving home.

Proverbs 3:1-6
My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, for they will prolong your life many years and bring you prosperity. Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on a tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight.

Isaiah 41:10
So do not fear, for I am with you;
Do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

We love you Caleb; You’re God’s gift to us. We know what we want for your life today and for your future. Above all we want you to believe in Jesus and know God as your friend and loving Savior.

We pledge to live this covenant every day with God’s help.
