Day 10

Isabel is on day 10 of a ruthless virus.  We thought she was turning the corner as you can see from the last post but Sunday night was the breaking point.  She woke up at 12:45 AM screaming in pain and basically proceeded to cry for the next 6 hours w/ only 1 hour of sleep (Thank You Jed!).  So if you are doing the math that is all I got as well from that point on.  Jed sweetly took her at 4:30AM,  even though he had to go to work that morning,  and did a great job getting her to rest. After speedily getting Isabel off to the pediatricians as soon as the office opened we found that Isabel does have a nasty virus ( I hate viruses!) and numerous mouth ulcers that were out of control. So in an effort to manager her pain and control her weight loss she received her first pain killers.  Hallelujah Relief!  She finally got some sleep and began to eat a little more.  Isabel then proceeded to sleep much better last night and is now peacefully in bed.   Our little girl is returning :)  Pray for a good check up tomorrow since she is now being followed closely by the pediatrician.  Oh our little peanut!
